Are you aware that your donation to Nana's Children Mental Health Foundation, Inc. qualifies for the Arizona State Department of Revenue "Helping the Working Poor Tax Credit?" This tax credit can be taken along with others, such as the school tuition tax credit. You can direct where your dollars go to truly impact homeless children and our community.

Arizona Legislation enacted a tax credit law, ARS-43-1088, which permits individuals to reduce their Arizona income tax liability for contributions to qualifying charities? Nana's Children Mental Health Foundation, Inc. is a qualifying charity that provides mental health services to children affected by homelessness, poverty, severe family dysfunction and addiction. A goal of our foundation is to join with schools as partners in meeting the needs of Arizona's children. The foundation delivers psychological counseling services and sponsors workshops and seminars focused on training counselors in scientifically based methods of therapy.

Contributions qualify as a dollar for dollar reduction in your Arizona Income Tax. Your contributions up to $400 ($200 individual and $400 couple) will either decrease the Arizona tax you would otherwise owe or increase the refund you would otherwise receive. If you live out-of-state, please check with the Department of Revenue in your area for tax-credit information.

The dollar for dollar benefit represents your opportunity to support children in need of mental health services and there is no cost to you. Donations must be received by December 31st,  of each year. A receipt for your donation and the form you need to submit for tax credit will be provided no later than January 31st, of the following year.
